Soldier Mom

Soldier Mom is a story about a female service-member. She has many jobs, responsibilities, and hearts in her hands. The story showcases love of country, service, and family that all service-members understand, but from a mommy perspective. I enjoyed writing this ‘love ‘ story and it is near and dear to my heart.

Jodi grew up in Florida and now resides in Georgia. As a 30-year Army Reserve veteran, she served and deployed to several countries around the world. When she was not on active duty, Jodi earned her Master’s of Science in Elementary Education and taught K-6th grades in both the public and private sectors. She now works in non-military government service. She has two adult children, Erin and Conner, whose experiences growing up with a military mom inspired the Soldier Mom story. In her free time, Jodi loves to scrapbook, write, snuggle with her cat, Fergus, and work on DIY home improvement and refinishing projects.
